More HP for a 2018 SS Camaro

Hello everyone, new to this forum and loving seen how people help each other out here. My question is I have a 2018 SS Camaro which is supposed to have 455 hp stock and if I was to put a cold air intake (15hp) and a exhaust system (20hp) and a programmer (30hp) Would that mean the motor would be putting out 520 hp?

You'd probably be better served at the 6 Gen forum.

You can switch to the 6th gen forum in the upper right corner of the page. A forum menu comes up , just select camaro 6

Can’t put set numbers on anything - cold air by itself won’t do much and like every other mod all work in conjunction. And crank hp means nothing it’s what it’s at the wheels and able to use all the power without spinning and going straight.

Like others said, Camaro6 would be the better place to ask this question. However, it is still relevant for any performance upgrades. The advertised numbers for performance products is if you only added that product on a stock platform. If every time you added a performance product you gained the advertised hp it would be far easier to make 700+ hp than it is. The benefit of setting yourself up for bigger gains down the road is by modding with the basic mods first and then going from there (cold air intake, headers, etc.). If you were to add a cam to a bone stock vehicle, the gains would not be as significant as a car that had a cold air intake and headers. The gains would be even higher if you added ported heads.

When I added a cold air intake, ported throttle body, long tube headers, catback exhaust, and a tune to my Camaro it picked up about 45rwhp. Pre tune the car was a little less but that was because the air/fuel ratio wasn’t optimal with the new parts.
