I guess they assume that somebody who is willing to spend $75k on a Camaro will buy anything if the price is high enough?

I have a full Corsa Ti for my C5Z and it is WELL worth it. Sounds SO good! I have hi flow cats. Its H-pipe style. Compliments everywhere I go. I did not mind paying extra, at all. No drone, all bad ass.
I did buy it used for $900. I couldn't be happier!

What about Inconel? You may have better luck finding someone to do Ti. But it's another option I guess.

If Ti was for the "Gulfstream" crowd then I suppose Inconel would be for the "Scaled Composites" crowd?

Insider joke...for Skylane

Does this mean Graphene will be for the "SpaceX" crowd?

Inconel is not light. Same weight as 300 series stainless.

And if you think Titanium is a mofo to machine/fabricate, wait until you're cursing a block of Inconel.

Inconel is mostly used for rocket engines, jet engines, and exhaust turbines. Nuclear weapons and nuclear reactors also use it. For reasons I can only guess, they used tons of it for the first fusion reactor test vessel.

But unlike cheaper alloys, it behaves well at cryogenic temps, like liquid hydrogen and oxygen, AND holds it's strength at 1800°F.

I just spent several minutes talking to Patrick at Litespeed. If there is significant interest he is willing to set-up group buy for complete titanium 3" cat back exhaust. His anticipated cost is $2500. He estimates the full cat back exhaust will weigh about 25 pounds. Stock system is around 70 pounds and 2 1/2". It will take him about 45 days to fabricate all of the systems once the trigger is pulled. PM me if you are interested. Here is a link to his web site.

I have a 2014 and we are planning to make a TT full exhaust as soon as my American Racing Headers get here... it will be a header back system no cats... We were thinking about doing headers how ever i think for the price it might be too expensive to get interested parties since the American racing headers and kooks are done so well...
I am starting a new thread to see how many interested parties i can get...
