makes sense since they don't want you to take away their thunder when they launch. Especially since they don't have z28 coming out anytme soon:

Nice car! The stripes outlined with orange remind me the Foose Mustang. Two questions:
1. Is this the same john Moss that had all of the fun at Chevrolet and put a 427 into a Silverado with georgeous blue paint?

2. Any plans on doing something with the DI V-6?

Near-ZR1 performance, my ass. I don't care if you slap two hundred grand worth of tennessee-gofasters on it and stuff a blown 572 under your thousand-dollar pinstripe job, you're never going to get a Vette out of it. It's a Camaro, an affordable muscle car that'll stomp anything else within fifteen grand from the other guys' showroom floor. Production is 'limited' to sixty a year because they'll be damn lucky to sell two.

Restroom is as right as my toilet flushes, which I just checked by the way. In less harsh wording, the pricing is preposterous, and I doubt that even a performance shop will be able to get any of those 60 hand-built, race-tuned monsters to pull the same numbers as a ZR1 on the Nurburgring. Imaginations are wonderful things, allowing us to experience what we never thought possible, but I reserve my enthusiasm for a car that I can actually afford, performance parts that are worth the prices that I can't afford yet, and the truth. At this pricing, I'm more likely to enjoy a Ferrari F430, which will turn more heads, make more noise, and require less aftermarket maintenance. While it is always fun to see what the aftermarket has in store for a new performer at the track, and while I even believe that this car will sell, I doubt that anyone who cares about how they spend their money will really blow their wallet on the full package.

It's a nice car. It's not a $150k nice car.

I'd like to see some aspects of this car sold to the mass public as opposed to the life-sucking millionaires that have somehow continued to make enough money in these hard economic times to blow it on an over-priced Camaro performance kit.

I'm sorry for my lack of enthusiasm, but I'm fairly disgusted that the first limited edition to be discussed in detail is oriented more for Daddy Warbucks than for Average Joe. Isn't Average Joe the marketing segment of the Camaro?

Hidden headlights a Go!

Well kind of. According to this link, a company called Fessler/Moss will be offering cosmetic and mechanical upgrades, including a hidden headlight option.

http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/22/f...r-2010-camaro/

Visually, the Fesler-Moss Camaro gets a hidden-headlamp front end, a reworked rear end, billet spears reminiscent of the 1969 model year, and a molded-in rear spoiler. The best parts, however, are the performance upgrades. Fesler-Moss will drop in an LS7, LS9 or any LSX V8 crate engine, supercharge the existing LS3, upgrade the suspension or brakes, and even convert the transmission to a paddle shift. Hit the jump for a full list of available upgrades, and choose your favorite color combination in the gallery below.
