I have been dailying on 3.91 for a couple years.

Had 3.70s been same price I would have done those, but these 3.91s are fun. I mostly drive city.

First gear is definitely harder if you floor it, but I am honestly surprised that even with a 3200 converter I generally (not if I floor it) still have traction...

im thinking about putting a different gearing into my ss l99 too, my biggest concern is mpg.
i live in germany and i really want to move the car around the autobahn, i also drive a lot (and quick too)
right now i drive about 150ish kph on the autobahn (my preferred speed)
and the camaro takes about 12liters at 100km. (which is ok, but i dont know the mpg value on that one)

what is your mpg loss after you went with the .91 gears?
what rpm is your car sitting @ 70mph or 80mph?

what is the max speed in 1st gear?

that would be super helpful because i'd convert your input into metric and then i can decide whether or not to go with .91 or .73

I am currently solving the same dilemma on LS3.
Those who had 3.73 recommended 3.73 before moving on to 3.91.
Then they said don't give 3.73, but go with 3.91.

So far, I'm holding a factory transfer, because I still have a lot of questions that I would like to know the answers.

So, I daily mine and do roughly 90% of my drive on the highway (around 22 miles each way to work). With all my mods (FBO, 3200, and 3.91s), I'm sitting at 18.3 mpg. Most of that highway drive is at 65mph.

yeah thank you so far, can you tell me what rpm youre having @ 65mph in 6th gear?
and what is the max speed in 1st/2nd/3rd?
