I went to a new body shop that opened in the last year and asked them how much to install the bumblebee stripes i ordered would be, he called their stripes guy and quoted me 800

Hope that guy assumed i wanted them painted on. Anyone know any good shops around So cal/ LA area that will install stripes for a reasonable price?

Sounds like they were confused. $800 to paint on stripes would be a real good price though. If they wanted $800 to apply vinyl, when you would be providing the stripes then face-palm.

My guy up here in the Bay Area charged me $125.00. They look great. He even put the vent stripes on for free.

For $800 do you get some of the crack he is smokin'..Damn.

Generally $75-100 an hour is a normal graphics install price and that covers the liability if they screw it up to cut you a new set!

I am not sure if many of you have looked closely at the stripe kits for these cars, but its not just as easy as cutting a new set. We were lucky and had a sliver strip cut that was very close to the originals, Install guy creased it beyond repair....ugggg. But the orange strips we did last week, we took a very close look at. The color is painted on whit vinyl, so cutting some of these stripes when they are screwed up will not be an option. Go figure......

I know a guy in Escondido who installs them. Great work, good prices. he did my hood & side spears for $50!
