The dealer I placed my order specs/deposit w today, stated he tried opening the build page on the software, but it wasn't avaliable yet. He did state all the options avaliable on the LT and SS will be avaliable on the vert, however couldn't confirm nor deny the HUD.He stated he was also associated with marketing and cited this forum as a source... he seemed by far the most informed and realistic... therefor he got my order.

If you remember, back in Oct when the initial Camaro coup orders opened, there was no pricing avaliable then either (hence my friend getting screwed on the GM wheel upgrade...) I'm guessing its all the same with an approx $5000 convertible upgrade.

Good luck!
Thanks for that info! Its not the pricing we are worried about, we are guarenteed to pay the MSRP, I just know that in 08 I was able to go in with all my info on options. I don't see much on it at this time. We have an appt that morning at 8:30. Thanks for the info

Good luck on your order today! I ended up at a slightly (100 miles) out of town dealer for a (written) garuntee of BELOW MSRP, placed my deposit on Monday, Got my Workbench Order # on Wednesday! Can't wait! I'm #2 of their 5 car allotment... estimated delivery, early February!!!

My orders excelled pretty quickly to the 3000s... does anyone know if production has been moved up from the original January projection?

Well the one that Motor Trend tested had a couple of leaks along the front edge of the roof and also the back glass fell out so maybe they are trying to take care of these problems before they get many out on the road and have a massive recall.

I hope your right... this wait is killing me! When I bought my 99 I only dreamed of buying a vert, I've since busted my a$$ (much like many if us have) saving, hoping, waiting... just to.endure continued delays with no explanation! I hate to say it, but Fords looking better and better each day my order sits in limbo!

It will be worth the wait. The production line was always scheduled to start in Jan. According to the GM rep I talked to they are on track for deliveries based on Jan build start. My dealer along with others have said that these orders would move quicker than what the GM reps have scheduled in the system. Bottom line I was told is everything for the production line are on schedule.
Maybe I'm patient since I already have a coupe to drive.

Man I really hope your right! My order progressed right up to 3400 at the 1/11 start date, then suddenly crashed back to 3000 and that's where it sits, meanwhile others orders are.moving along... unfortunately, I sold my other Camaro when I assumed my vert was in production, now im carless and no end in.site!

So how long do you think it will take to build them once you have been accepted?
