I get in arguments from time to time with my GF and/or her friends.. They give me the "oh, I'll buckle up when we get moving" -- I just look at them and say, well, if that's the case then you can buckle up now. It goes back and forth like that until I just put the car back in Neutral (never started moving) and say I'll wait.. -- Now, amongst the grumbling from them, I remind them that while I'm behind the wheel, their life is my responsibility.

Wow, that's a severe impact! A 60 MPH rear impact is significantly more than what our govt requires! That is some great engineering to produce such a robust design considering all the other conflicting pressures the design team is under. I'm sincerely glad to hear our fellow Camaro enthusiast is OK! Thanks for the great work Scott and crew!

Another reminder and reason why I chose to drive the Camaro. Glad he will be OK, and I hope the Navigator has lots of insurance.

My question is how would a person in the back seat fared in that accident?

I honestly wouldn't trade my car right now for a ZL1 straight across. No way. I'm attached to this car. No way I could get rid of it willingly. A ZL1 would be of NO conselation to me.

My health and family well being is first and foremost. Glad he's ok, HATE LIKE HELL that his early build car is totaled. :(

He WILL love that ZL1 though........

Good Job GM on making a safe car! Glad he will be able to enjoy a ZL-1 when they get into production...this could have been an unhappy ending.

They don't even make my perfect car in its perfect color anymore, so mine HAS to last forever.

While still being a DD.

(cough)

Maybe if I ask REALLY, REALLY nice, GM will run any (God forbid) replacement Camaro of mine over to where they make the HHR to dip it in their ABM vat...
