Love the heritage grill on your car. If I could redo it all over again it would be very difficult for me to choose between white and yellow and if I would do rally stripes or something like the 1LE with the fender hash marks.

Thanks!! I like the 1LE look on light colors but there's no way I'd ever do it. I'm super OCD when it comes to detailing my car and there is nothing harder to clean and upkeep than matte black which is the same reason I went with gloss black. Matte black sucks in my book so I would hate to have my whole hood wrapped in it and never be able to get it perfect like I'd want it.

I think your car would really pop with some hash marks.

I have thought about it but I think it would be a little to much with the Rally stripes I already have. Have you thought about blacking out the area around the grill on the fascia? I love how that looks on mine.

Yes I have but I don't want to do it just because you can barely notice it on the CGM. I was going to go with a gloss black grille and black that area out for the mean look but I got such a good deal on the grille painted I couldn't refuse it. I've still been thinking about plastidipping the grille just to see how it might look but for now, I love the CGM grille.

Oh thank god mine were already installed on there. Quick question, is there a discernible difference between the outer trailing arm bushings and the rest? I have the ones installed on the arms and then the full pfadt set so I have doubles of everything except the outer trailing arm bushings. Don't want to install the wrong bushings if they are different.

Nope they are all the same. They did however package the bushings for tie rods and rear trailing arms separately but they are exactly the same.
Give me a min and I can post a pic of the bushings so you can see if you have the right ones. |
