That would be incredible, but even so I bet you'd be looking at a 3 - 4 thousand dollar or more parts and labor bill. By that time your only a few grand away from a supercharger or turbo setup, but then again, I'd love to see an ultimate n/a V6 build. Been wanting to see one for a long time, but finding someone that really wants to do it, and has the means to do it is a very rare thing. Not to mention we are still waiting to see if cams will ever become a successful product in these cars.

Nope....there was an issue with the original cams he was sent so the project was aborted. Last update, he said they were resending cams and paying for his costs, but that was a while ago. No updates since.

There is a transition going on, it is not dead yet. I am in talks with the person doing this. He is setting up a new shop and then will get back on it. We are looking to get some real gains, FI and NA....

yes, he has a cam company he is working with and can do the heads too.he is in need of a set of oe cams for r/d if anyone has a set around... possibly looking to do a build by years end, I know that's a long time. but the shop is just getting the foundation poured.

From what I have read, "OE" cams are relatively cheap .... maybe he can just buy them himself or someone can donate the 4 cams needed .... I think I read they are only $75/each .....

If I could be certain the gains will be significant, I would buy him the cams myself for the testing and development ....
