Dyno results! 588.32/515.59

Car has Lingenfelter heads, TSP 3.2 cam (240/252), Texas Speed roller rockers, NW 103mm TB, MSD Atomic AirForce, Kooks 2" headers, no cats, factory NPP exhaust, BTR pushrods (2 sizes), factory CAI.

It made 493.22 and 483.59 before the H/C/TB install

Now it's at 588.32 and 515.59

Picked up 95 horse and 32 ft/lbs.

It made 493.22 last time at 5790rpm
Now it's 588.32 at 6760rpm

Tq was 483.59 at 5060rpm
Now it's 515.59 at 5000rpm

The curves are basically the same until it hits around 4500, then the new combo wakes it up. Before 4500 the tq and hp are up but only by 5-10.

nice results, may I ask more about the drivability? is it true that the car is less usable below 3000rpm with the TSP stage 3.2?

I've only taken it around for about 5 miles but it seems pretty happy down low. My tuner did 2 tweaks to it down there just for drivability. It's a big cam but not crazy big. BTW his dyno typically reads a tiny bit low. When I first got there I told him I would be super happy with 600 wheel. He looked at me and said "Ain't gonna happen". Apparently he's only had 1 or 2 LS7's crack 600 wheel, and they had huge cams. He said that Z06's typically dyno a little higher than Z/28's do. He said that on his dyno most H/C LS7's make 550-585.

Hopefully you're on different tires than the factory Pirelli's. I'm assuming you are because they don't last long. Our cars are AMAZING right out of the box. Mine is modified quite a bit but the brakes are 100% stock, and the suspension (shocks, springs, sways) is 100% stock. The only suspension mod I have are Vorshlag camber plates. I ran my car stock for 2 years, then did headers, MSD Atomic intake, and ran that for 3 years. Our cars are very neutral when you really start to push them hard. Take them to 85% and they will be planted to the ground. Go to 90-95% and they will slide a bit, but it's very controllable. They don't do anything that will scare you.

First thing I would buy would be a new driver seat. I run 2 Kirkey containment-type seats, on Planted Technology seat brackets. I ran some aluminum spacers to get the seat where I want it. You can swap out a seat in 5 minutes, they are only held in with 2 bolts in the back. When I ran the factory seats, my left knee would be sore as hell for a few days from pushing up against the door panel to keep me in the seat.

thx for the tips. i actually drove on different tires on the road and i have a set o trofeo R on spare rims to go to track/autocross.
I had the chance to push the car to traction limits in corners and i confirm what you said: it’s very communicative and easy to predict

Frumusa Performance in Rochester. Mike Frumusa is an amazing tuner. I got my most of my parts through Black Label Tuning out of Rhode Island. Mike Verdolotti owns it and has a lot of knowledge about LS's specifically LS7's.

Trofeo R's will not be as fast as a legit tw200 autocross tire. The Trofeo's will put you into classes with guys on Hoosiers since they are treadwear 60 or something like that. The best 19" autocross tire for our cars is the Falken RT660 in 315/30/19. They are about $430 each.

Rochester is about 5 HRS from me, one day I'll find someone close to me.

Sounds like you're closer to me.

I have used JTM out in long island. They are pretty good too. I did basic bolt ons and tuning on my old 02 SS, nothing intense. They had a bunch of C6 Z06's getting work done when I was there. There are pretty good reviews for JTM from the Corvetteforum guys on JTM.
