GM 22879423 Radiator Assembly

Forum knowledge help please, I'm looking for a replacement radiator, but it seems to be backordered everywhere.

GM 22879423 Radiator Assembly

Any ideas which is the best one to buy for OE replacement?

Thanks in advance for your support.

I purchased 2 Dewitt radiators just for this scenario for each of my Camaros. They are sitting in garage. The OEM hybrid radiators will fail and as we all know, GM is done making parts to support us.
One other member just recently did a write up on install on one of these radiators. It’s not a drop in but the closest we are going to find without putting an OEM back in, if you can find one.

Not sure if my rant helps or not.

Yes, I read that thread and it seemed quite a lot of effort and patience. I've got a radiator on backorder at summit racing, I believe it's the same radiator as the ZL1 part.

Thank you for your input, no matter how gloomy it is!

There are non AC DELCO parts, one NISSENS at $220 and DENSO at $132, along with many other brands.

I might've found a source, I've ordered another one and it should arrive this week. If the radiator is the real deal, I'll post up a link.

No luck chaps, both orders have come through as delayed (summit racing / Walmart), thought both stated they had the OE AC DELCO part and were shipping it.

I'll likely perform a few rad flushes n the mean time.

What oil temps are people seeing on track in their Z28?

I don't see above 280-290 for oil often. 220 for water. Was at thunderhill a month ago when it was about 90-95

At the end of the session I see 280-290 too. Thanks for the confirmation.
