Good idea I guess, seems like way more trouble than holding the 'top up' button for 15 seconds.... just my .02

That depends. I'd use that at car shows/street meets, etc. It would save you from having to take the tonneau cover on/off/on when you need to put your top up.

Our club does road trips around the state for various things and I put my tonneau cover on for those. When we stop and go into a restaurant (or whatever), I can just slip this thing on.

I've been meaning to get in touch with California Car Cover to see if they had one for the 5th Gen.

New Cover tried it on the CAR and it works great Now for this DAMN winter to end and get to drive the car
