i noticed a problem in the paper with the challengers. potential fire. they will fix most of them before they are sold, customers who bought them will be given a loaner and the problems fixed right away. no denial. no blaming the customers. no waiting for 2 years. a good american honest way to do business. just admit the problem, offer an immediate fix. work with the customer. wow.

GM are you listening????? Lots of ticked off customers here.
Yeah, GM called me back and said they were making note of my concerns and if i had problems in the future they would try to work with me on the problem. I'm sure i can take that to the bank. For now i am waiting to get the tape fix.

Well, they're probably so cooperative because it's a potential life threatening issue, not like our roof problems. There's a lot more liability and money to lose if a fire burns someone or causes the car to explode.

Really?.. Comparing something that could not only destroy the car, but could burn down your house or kill someone to these roof issues... WOW!

Agree.. it's comparing apples to oranges.

For Chyrsler it's safetly / liablitity issue. They basically had no choice. I feel confident that if these Chyrlers weren't prone to "spontaneous comustion" or whatever, they would have done their best to not have the information released to the media.

Another thing.. just like we are able to get information about recalls, so is the media. I don't think our roof issue have been proven to be media worthy. Unfortunately.

Not to minimize our top problems because they ARE REAL and SERIOUS, but certainly not a safety or liablility issue.
