Aqua Blue, Skeptics Come In

In these pictures Aqua Blue looks awesome, looks almost like Jetstream Blue in direct sunlight. I was skeptical until I saw this HHR and a Colorado in another thread of mine:

I sure like that blue, problem is, that car looks good in most of the colors. I'd like to see it in blue with silver stripes.

Eh, still doesn't do too much for me. Too light for my tastes, but to each his own.

I'll stick with cyber grey.

This or silver will be in my garage as soon as I can order the HUD unit in my RS/SS coupe. That HHR SS is great looking in that color!

Hmm... If that's what it looks like on Camaro, that looks good to me. I think I'd prefer the darker blue (I can't remember the name... IS t Jetstream like on the 'Vette?) but the problem I have with that blue is it may hide too many of the bodylines. I'm preferential to blacks and dark blues, but there are too many lines to hide on this car with dark colors. JMVHO.

That looks great. I though Aqua Blue would be more like Teal. Can't wait to see in person, maybe with white stripes, SWEET COLOR.

First post. Yeah.

As sated in my sig, it is a 'maro that exact color with white stripes that I plan to scoot around Kalamazoo in, post graduation. From the moment I saw that color on the Chevy page, I thought 'pure sex'. And having seen a Colorado in that color on a nearby lot, again pure sex Aqua is on the brain.

Funny thing is that such a scheme would be an inverse homage to my dad's 1979 Camaro z/28. White with Aqua Blue (esque) stripes. Pity they couldn't figure out a way to design some feasable T-Tops; otherwise the dream would be complete.

Aqua Blue. My ONLY choice in color.

You probably saw the other blue offered on the Colorado which I think was Navy Blue, or you might have seen Imperial Blue??? Either way, this blue with white stripes is for me; it might almost look like a 1969 Lemans Blue Camaro with white stripes.

I know this is off topic…...... but that has got to be the worst rendition of a Chevy Bowtie I have ever seen; and by a Chevy dealer to boot…

thats proly because the top part of the bowtie would look too big if it was
extended to the next edges of the glass.

so the width of the top part was dictated by the width of the window itself.

just a speculation tho

No...it was on, I think an HHR or Malibu, and the sticker said Aqua Blue.
