Apparently CNBC screwed up! This was NOT supposed to be released today as GM is making the reveal tomorrow!

Someone is going to get in trouble over this one.

if that is the Gen6... ill keep my Gen5. Hoping those are just images developed from teasers. All the sharp lines of the styling are gone.

Here's a shot someone from the Mustang6 forums grabbed off CNBC of the rear of the 2016:

I think they're real but we won't know for sure until GM says it is real. Given that CNBC pulled the plug on the story I'm guessing they may be legit.

It does look smaller, I like that, but to me it kinda looks Mustang like...without the sharp lines (as already been mentioned). I know GM said that they redesign was worked out with extensive wind tunnel testing, that might be the result of it.

Not too thrilled... will have to see one in person.

If it's real, I'll keep the 5th gen. Not that inspiring, I was hoping for more. Looks much softer to me, perfect for my wife though...

I like the hood, and the headlights. I saw that this morning as well, I have to watch CNBC for work, and the rear end is completely ugly. I never was much for the 14/15 rear end either but ill take that over the C6 for sure! Hopefully it is lighter, more power, and the interior is a little more updated. Be interesting to see.

That car should be called a Cobalt, not a Camaro!
