Hibernation ended on Sunday

Hello all - I was excited to get my Camaro out of storage over the weekend and go for a nice drive. You full timers will never know the angst of looking at your car all winter under a cover hooked up to a battery tender.

Anyway, I got some pics of the "unveiling" and a quick video of the 1st start up and backing out of the garage.

Drive was really good, but my 3 pedal work was a bit rusty...

and no, that is not a mop laying in the 3rd pic, thats my dog...

Yea, the drive was just around town. I'd say about 1.5 hrs. I took it pretty easy, made sure everything was up to temps before I really got going. And I never really wound it out. I even left the TC turned on for about 30 minutes...

Now, just need to wait another 5 days...grrr...for it to stop raining...

Happy for you that Ehmsea and Bio-Hazard are out ready to play, but not so much here as mine won't be out until the first week of May. Seven months is such a long time!

Mild winter this year, have been out every sunny day above 40 degrees.

Sorry but I just don't get storing these cars for the winter. As long as the roads are dry, regardless
of the temperature, I'm out out and about with my '10 SS. and after almost 8 years it's still in show
condition. I'm not saving my Camaro for anyone and watching it depreciate in my garage.
Just my opinion after 8 years and 45,000 miles.
