Engine cover paint code?

All - does anyone know the paint code for the silver color of the V8 engine cover? I masked mine with some painters tape and some flecks of paint came off when I removed the paint. I thought they'd use the same silver as the silver Camaro (Silver Ice Metallic) but that is not correct. My touch up pen is definitely a different color silver than that.

So now my engine cover looks stupid (not really my engine cover, me stupid).

I like the silver color (Camaro is White with Black stripes). So I just want to fix this as easy as possible. I've attached some vinyl lettering and some stainless steel pieces. My plan was to apply a clear coat over the vinyl and be done with it. Now, the stupid silver is 2 different colors with my sloppy touchup work.

I would like to ask the forum:
1. What is paint color code for the silver on the engine cover (I believe this is the easiest way to fix it)?
2. Is there an easier way to fix this mistake (I am open to a different color I'm just not that good with colors)?

I do not know the paint code color for that and hope someone can chime in that does.

But if it were me... I'm remove the lettering, paint the silver parts white to match the car, put the lettering back and clear it. then your cover will be white/black and match the rest of the car. JMO.

White Engine cover option

Thanks for the reply...going white was the only other color option I saw as well. From the perspective of having to paint the silver parts again anyway, White or Silver is going to be the same work...

Here is a picture of one I took at a car show. Now I would still do the V8 in Red but this is what I see as the other option as well...
