he is somewhat right about any car being capable of this. I remember reading a few years go about an 89 Ford Tempo, of all cars, making it past 1 million miles. Ford gave the owner a brand new focus when it happened. I don't get all the hype surrounding the story...don't a lot of taxis surpass this milestone?

Toyota, Nissan, or Honda might do the same thing but we won't hear about it 'cause nobody cares. That's awesome!

I won't own it that long. Did you read the last part "its a good story". Dig deep JEFF and you might find a clue.

My daily is a 2003 Ford Explorer. As of today I had 189,976 miles. Not to bad for a ford. But then again I am a car guy not a chevy nut.

I love all cars for certain reasons. The camaro happens to be one of them, and sorry chevy freaks my camaro will never get over 100,00 either. I will sell it before hand or just die.

It's more the fact that a private owner did it that makes it sort of special. Might even have to do with it being a truck, I can't recall a truck passing the mark, even though cars have. Sure it "can" be done on any vehicle, but this guy actually did it, not many can say that. The guy must have really liked the truck to keep it that long.
