New Interior Mods

I thought I would share some of my new interior mods that I completed over the weekend. I have had most of these parts sitting in a pile in my basement, while i was waiting on the MyLink upgrade kit from Gen5DIY. I figured I might as well only tear the interior apart once, or that was the original plan. After some setbacks a few weeks ago, I finally got the MyLink w/ Nav upgrade from Gen5DIY installed and working correctly. When I initially tried to install the MyLink kit, my faceplate wouldn't power on. After working closely with Ofer and doing some testing, we determined that the problem was in my stock wiring/ harness. After a trip to the dealer, they installed a new radio faceplate, wiring and connector under warranty. The second attempt at installing the MyLink was a success and took about an hour! While the console was apart, I installed a second center console that I wrapped in leather from Redline Goods. The red stitching really complements the ZL1 interior nicely. I also had the side panels wrapped in a black leather vinyl, but will soon be switching that out to leather from Redline Goods. I added an e-brake boot from Redline Goods as well, along with a Victory Red painted e-brake handle from RPI Designs.

Finally, I added a Hurst Comp shifter plate, a Carbon Flash Metallic painted shifter bezel and 4-gauge pack, and RGB cupholder lights from Diode Dynamics that I tied into my NightOwl system.

All of these new interior mods really changed the look of the interior. The leather wrapped console really softened up the interior and gave it a finished look. It looks stock, which is why I like it so much.

Here are some pics:

And that cup holder
...
I noticed you said the cup holder is RGB, do you get the aqua/blue color to match the stock interior lighting? If so, any pics?

Yeah, I can set it so that I can match the aqua/ blue stock ABL lighting. I can snap a pic tonight for you.

Everything looks great; very good install. One comment on the 4-gauge pack... I have a 2SS/RS so it came with that and I thought it would look bad without them there but after a few years I find myself hardly ever even looking at the gauges since the car always seems to be running fine (knock on wood).

Yeah, my ZL1 has a 4-gauge pack stock as well, and it's pretty useless while driving. Nothing like having to look down while at full throttle to see the boost reading! I found a great deal on a second one, so I had it painted CFM. I actually have dual Aeroforce gauges mounted on the A-pillar that I can see when I need to and they have tons of optional data to display so you can pick what you want to see. You can see them in the pic below:
