So I'm curious -- I've been working ALOT over the past year and simply haven't been able to keep up with all the news of the Cam6. Is there a significant change to the engine or exhaust?

I have the 14 2SS....and love it..... but today I saw three vids of the revving 16 and it just sounds insane. Does it REALLY sound that much louder than the 5th gens or is this just how it's being recorded (camera audio can often sound much better than reality)?

I mean, my 2SS sounds pretty good -- but these vids just sound crazy awesome. The sound alone makes me consider trading.

hm, i dont know if chevy sells other exhausts to europe (more quiet ?) but the Camaro i drove in 2013 had only a bit sound when on gas. Idling was much to quiet.
Compared to the 5.0 coyote it was day and night ! The 5.0 sounded much louder and nicer inside and outside; ok that was a 2013 model and not the 2015īs which lost a bit loudness too.
I have the same opinion as Emme Hall at 3:10 in this video :

Thats because your camaro don't have the duel mode exhaust(quad exhaust) which is the on the 2016.your camaro had the stock duel tip exhaust which is much more quiet.the mustang has only 1 exhaust option which is no way better and lauder than the NPP.

Yeah I'm thinking its mostly the LT1. I loved how the 4th gen LS1 sounded factory. This 6gen sounds great as well.

What he said . I have the NPP on mine with fuse pull and it sounds real good. In fact I have been asked many times if I had aftermarket exhaust. The 2016 does sound a bit better and louder as its controlled by drive modes instead of a fuse pull.

Same as the other video...sounds awesome. Mic likely makes it sound a bit raspier than in person, but you guys also have to remember that pretty much everything is raspier and thinner when being revved in neutral. WOT on the road is going to be awesome.

I think she is just posing for a pic that the other girl is taking. You can see her taking a pic at the end of the vid.

Same here. Not quite as impressive as a Corsa/Borla/MBRP/Magnaflow system, but amazing for a stock exhaust system.

That being said, because I go fuse-less always, it makes me wonder if I should have skipped NPP on my '14 and gotten aftermarket.

I am looking forward to being able to change exhaust sound with a twist and a click.
