In a bit of a dilema reaching out for your opinions
Back in October of 2009 I bought my first Camaro. It was a black on black 2LT/RS. I veered off from in the following Summer and stepped up to a 2011 2ss/RS White/Inferno. I got hit pretty bad in that car on the way home from work one night and when I got it out of the body shop I really didn't feel safe. I then bought a new BMW. To this day out of 12 different cars...The camaro is my favorite car. Everything about it. The Dilema is...do I go this weekend and buy another 2011 2ss/RS black new, or do I wait for the ZL1. I know the ZL1 finance payments will probably be skyrocketing so I am really debating. Please give me your opinions as to what I should do

No-one can answer that but you, unless you give us more details. Are you in college? Do you have a family? Do you plan on buying a house within the next 6 years? Etc.

I didn't feel safe after front and rear bumper were ripped off lol...and heres the details. I am 19 years old, opted not to go to college, I am in sales for a development corporation in NYC. I don't plan on buying a hosue within 6 years and by the time the finance term ends I sitll won't be married with children. Since I was 17 I paid for all of my cars so please I don't want to hear all that crap either. Just opinions on waht to do

go big or go home!
jk. but seriously. no one knows ur situation like you do. I think if you can really and i mean really afford a ZL1 (not can pay for the car but is broke otherwise) then you should get it! But if not and you just want an SS, at least wait a little bit and get a 2012.

I say never buy the first version of any new or revamped model including the ZL1...There will be lots of issues. Buy the new 2SS and wait a couple of years for the second release of the ZL1.

It was ninety nine cents!

The ZL1 is going to be hotness. But I don't think I could wait that long.
Snap up a used 2SS, hell there are still new 2010 models rotting on dealer lots if you look.... should be able to snag one for a nice price since the 2012's are in production now. I'm sure if you make enough money to be buying a Camaro, then a BMW, you can swing a house payment too (if you end up changing your mind) Have a kid in the next 6 years? This bitch has a back seat that fits TWO kids! So as long as you don't start knocking out twins, you're golden man!!

If you can afford the ZL1, buy it. If you can afford two of them, I'll take the other!

Lol not knocking up anyone right now and don't plan on it for a while. Don't want to move out yet as per the same reason I opted not to go to any of the 12 schools offering me hockey scholarships, that reason being is my father passed away 4 years ago and I still have a younger brother and sister. Don't want to leave mom alone. I think that I am going to wind up going with a new 2011 2ss/RS. Lets see what happens. Thanks everyone!

I personally would not buy a ZL1 as my daily driver. But if you have a beater that you can drive to crowded malls, grocery stores, and movie theaters (and you can afford to spend $55K for a car) then its something you should definitely consider...
