Nobody else does, the article is incorrect. The Malibu has the 3.6L LY7 V6, the non-DI version of the 3.6L High-Feature engine.

An LLT Malibu would be a fun car with great mileage.

As far as I know, it's never happening. EpII Malibu is supposedly ditching the V6 for a turbo 4.

I'm doubting their numbers. 72k overseas sales for the Camaro?

for some time the v6 malibu was a pos car. Can we say leaking intake gaskets.

the 4 cylinder seems to be a decent motor minus the shavings in the oil filter

Are you generalizing all Malibu's ever made here, or specific engine code, or models years or what...

I drove a 2010 Fusion the other day. It made me want to drive a Malibu! The Fusion wasn't bad per say, but just wasn't real interesting. The mirrors were too small and the brakes too grabby, and i wasn't impressed with their centre HVAC control stack.
As soon as i sat in it and seen the DIC, i was like, hey, that's similar to the Malibu's! (for instrument face design, that's all)

My wife has a 2010 Malibu LTZ with the four popper. It's a fun car in manual mode. I keep threatening to turbo it when she complains it's not as peppy as the supercharged 2006 Mini Cooper S that was traded in on it, lol. Heck, the v6 would have been plenty, but she didn't want to wait.

and what? my parents had a 09 Clubman S, it was a GREAT car and the quality blows anything in the small segment out the water.. my only complaints were that they didnt use the normal BMW 5x120 lug pattern and no AWD option, cause boy that thing needed it!

$3k for clutch replacement, lol. Basicly, it was almost out of warranty, wife didn't want to be out big dollars for any work needing done. Otherwise, she loved the thing! Go cart on steroids!!
