I would have posted some stuff this morning but the site seemed to be down. Tim I noticed in some race coverage you were running a 12.5x in the index, good times. Al Corda is running his 2000 C5? If it's the same car I'm thinking of, if you get a chance look under it, it's got a live axle conversion like a 12 bolt. It was for sale at one point.
My stuff... GLD, 7.12.13 DA 1200 Got out to the track unexpectedly, and the weather looked decent. In short, my tuning changes are working, I'm changing stuff myself with HP Tuners but I double check all my ideas with Jim at Speed Inc. I've gotten great advice from a few guys on here and Camaro5. I uploaded the latest changes in the parking lot at work and drove up. DA averaged 1200, track was okay until the last hour, and it started going away. 12.34@111.90 / 7.92/ 88.89/ 1.78 12.28@110.34 / 7.84/ 88.64/ 1.69 12.21@111.08/ 7.79/ 89.11/ 1.68 12.20@111.17/ 7.79/ 89.36/ 1.69 12.21@111.94/ 7.82/ 89.82/ 1.77 12.24@111.80/ 7.84/ 89.72/ 1.79 3980 Raceweight I'm getting a bit bored of running 12.2's so I have one more bolt-on and two weight reduction ideas to try pretty soon. I will keep working on a 11.99 stock internal pass, and then after that I'll dig into the engine or stop and start building a lighter other car like a swapped foxbody Mustang.

They DA correct to 12.0 which is okay, though the DA was really not that bad.
J, I figured out the burnout, but also tried some different launch techniques with the converter. I'd like to try messing with the converter again and I should really log the 1-2 shift to make sure it's good, but I'd also really like to go back with a real shot at going 12.0's... So I be looking for a little more power and to be a bit lighter.

well the good and the bad
but the day's over we're beat tired and calling it a weekend . The good : the car ran great for the first elimination, no timing pulled and shifts went well. AIT and ECT was good from the long cooldown. Got temps up to operation in the lanes. da was just under 3000 with 5 to 7 headwind. had a good burn out and partial deep staged. dropped passenger seat to help offset headwind, deeper stage, and since I was also expecting KR again. the run felt solid and thought I cross the line after slowing up a little to just edge him out. Apparently not what happened from time slip. He took it by 0.0261 I was pleased with my time of 0.021 off my index. The bad: despite my slightly deeper stage enabling my typical .05 ish RT, I ended up very disappointing .20 due to lower launch by 100 plus rpm and apparently sleeping. Car seems good where its at for now. Will take some time off and review the logs where KR seen Good luck out there.

Any day racing is a good day.
I might head out there tomorrow with my youngest. J, I'm not gonna hit the track for a while, I need some time to get some of the parts I want.

Yeah 12.20 in July is good but I need to take a break get some parts I want here and then get back out.
I have an 18" tire picked out for the front, Garrett can get them they are like $370-380 for the pair.

I know they make the same wheel we use in the back at 18x8.5 but the offset requires a spacer... I could fit a much thinner tire on a 8.5 then a 9.5... but that spacer just gives me this icky feeling..

I'm just going to run the same size wheel up front. If I get real serious I'll get skinnies but for now I'm just into running the car as I drive it.

That was the only brand I came across in that size, are there any others?
I'm looking to have them on before my next big outing, but I'm not racing in this kinda of weather like we are having right now.
