Valve float
Has anyone ever experienced valve float in these motors? I have been boosted for the last 40,000miles and currently at 16psi of boost for the past 3000miles, I started noticing in the higher rpm range, 6000-7000, it would want to break up some in sound and power which it has never done on this setup before. The car has seen many track passes as well. Running ZL1 pump and alky meth so not sure if it is running out of fuel or not.

Did you do cam with springs? If so, how many miles on them?

No cams or springs done, motor is 100% stock and never been touched.

Turbo guys were running 24 PSI on stock springs.

I am interested in what mods you did to run 16 PSI? You said you added Meth and Zl1 fuel pump but did you do anything else to get to that level of Boost? That seems like a lot for that much compression. I run 10-12 PSI but am apprehensive to move up. Who did your tune? Are you automatic or stick? I'm impressed. That thing must be lightning fast. Good for you! I know Magnum has really pushed the limits, unbelievable how these little engines perform!
