Two things wrong with this,

It's PQ we are talking about, and the car is on stands...

Think about it....

Um, when you got the fix a flat stuff that's in the Chevy compressor on the car, how did you remove it finally?

My wife had a blowout with the Cruze (she's okay first and foremost) and we have the compressor in that car. I now have that fix a flat crap on the fender, hood, etc etc. I'm glad it's SIM.

And a note......that stuff won't fill a quarter sized hole.

OnStar - success
Roadside Assistance - success
Tire at dealership I can't stand cause it's the closest - of course they have to order it! FAIL

Ya, been there. LOL

Uh......... I hate to say it,,,, but........ I never got it all off. :(

Mineral spirits and a looooooooooooooot of soft rubbing. Like, 5 minutes of soft rubbing for a dime size area. It SUUUUUUUUCKed.

Lower quarter panel still has spots. They are not very noticeable becasue they are low. The rest was pure time sittign there rubbing.

Good to know. I'll keep it in mine if I ever have to drag out the fix a flat.

Thanks! I was telling her on the phone how it worked and she turned the knob. All I heard was "AHHHHHHHHHHH it's everywhere!!!!" Once I got to the dealership and checked it out it wasn't as bad as it sounded.

A BIG TIP!! Hook it up to the tire BEFORE you turn that knob! There is no safety, no arming device; it just starts coming out and fast!

If you get it off before it fully dries you may be ok.

tkrupinski helped me remove some goo from the fender of my car when we removed the "CAMARO" letters. He used an eraser wheel on it and it worked great.

Might be worth a try, local auto paint supply should carry them.

I'll check Car Quest and see. Couldn't hurt. Thanks.

This stuff is kind of like Great Stuff. Expands and if you get it on your hands or fingers you have to wear it off.

If it gets REAL hard it could be scraped with a razorblade but I'd only let a pro do that
