I've even seen a car roll over at autocross. Bad setup choices and not a Camaro, but still . . .

Rule sets have to consider all of the cars that are allowed to participate in the first place, without granting safety exceptions to anybody even if some foreseeable situation is virtually impossible for a particular car to get into.

Yep. And it seems only one one harness bar out there is any good. The others are not made anymore or are weak and loose to a degree. And people really have to remember you are getting into a off-road Racing situation, especially road Racing. You are in an inherently potentially unsafe situation, and no one out there wanting to do these events is a professional, experienced racecar driver such as nascar or indycar. Don’t get in over your heads

Two questions for those that know:

1. How would you mount a Scroth Rallye 3 on a seat without provisions for a harness like the non-Recaro seats in the OP's post.?

2. What are the advantages of a Scroth Rallye 3over the factory belt when coupled with a CG-Lock?

1. You can run them thru the headrest uprights but if the seat does not have pass thru openings, I am not sure I would use them for anything road course or even street use. I would use them for autocross only on a safe courses with very limited chances of hitting anything.

2. Not able to tell you about advantages or disadvantages since you have not stated the general use of these belts. I didnít care to use a CG lock because of potential damage to my OEM belts.

Sorry I should have stated for autocross use.

I used a CG lock on my vette for auto-x and track days for five years and there wasn't any visible damage to the factory belt.
