First Gen. Seats (Pictures Added)

I have a set (2 buckets and rear seat and backrest) of plain black first gen. seats in Very Good Original condition! There is a scuff on the drivers bucket on the left front of the backrest. Plastic back so not 67. What are they worth? They are For Sale !

I have advertised them on a few sites asking what they are worth because I really have no idea. I know what it cost to get mine refurbished and recovered. What would shipping to Phoenix cost?

For Value, I'd try Year one, and see what they are selling at, then ask for 100 or so less, because Year One is a little over-priced.

For now, post that stuff in the off topic forum. As time goes on and the 5th Gen is released along w/ the site growing, Jason and Mark have said other forums/sections will be introduced. It'll take a while, but it'll happen.

Well I don't know what they're worth as in "market value", but if I were in need of them I'd give you (negotiate) $500-$750 for the whole set.

Thank you! The top of you estimate of value is right where everyone else I have asked is, about $750 to less than $1000 depending on condition of course. I just had new covers put on with new foam and canvas etc, and that cost me over $1000 parts and labour not including the cost of the covers and I already had the frames which did have to be cleaned up, fixed and painted. So I guess by the time I was finished, it totaled about $1600.

Not really a good gauge. IMO OEM seats are worth more than repops in most cases. One of the best ways is to search ebay for like items, then click the COMPLETED AUCTIONS link and see what they actually sell for.
Another is review the classified sectionat www.camaros.net

1969 buckets seem to fetch more than 1967-1968 seats...

Good Luck
