The VIS ones have rain gaurds so you can't get rain into them. They're pretty decent at keeping the elements out so far. I wonder what hood he had.

You have great taste TLSTWIN! Those CF hoods are some serious eye candy. I'll keep that idea in mind for a future mod.

Right now I'm going for performance and that rear spoiler but those are VIS hoods? I think they have a catch tray underneath the vents if I'm not mistaken for water and such.

A great choice though.

The weave, pattern, quality are 99% identical. You cannot tell whihc is which brand from looking at it.

Thank you.

I did the hood for weight loss & heat extraction before the ZL1 even was out. I thought it was pretty cool when the ZL1 came out with them in the hood. I then focused on the suspension & braking.

Mine is the VIS & has the rain tray.

Good luck with the mods & build

No. I don't get the big kick on carbon fiber. Myself I can't stand the looks of it. To each their own I guess.

Those were hard to resist at one point. I forget what the hold up was at the time with the Anvil spoilers. If I remember correctly they had a molding problem at the time I was in the market and had to pass on them but I always thought they were extremely cool.
