I think he means an actual car club with officers,where they organize and hold events.Anything done with the name Camaro5 needs to be approved by the owner of the site (tran),and good luck with that.Yes you can meet up with people from these forums,but no you couldn't hold an event with the name Camaro5.An event where you would sell T-shirts,and have raffle,and take donations.All of that would need owner approval.

This is not a shot at anyone on the forums or the respective owner/owners.I just don't think they would have the time to do this for a national/worldwide forum.Everyone here knows that if some how we got their appoval,and other cities got wind of it,that everyone would want to do it in their location.

Texas F-body is a VERY good club,with great people running it.They do charity events,and fund raising events.Not to mention that one of the officers is one of the 12 disciples of which there are 13.It is made up of all generation Camaros and Firebirds.

There is also some chatter about an all 5th gen club starting up in north Texas.I will also like to become a part of that,heck,I still like going to the 3rd Gen meets.

looking for 2 reasons.

1) my girl will be getting a camaro

2) i wana start doing some AAC halo and lighting installs on some Camaros in the DFW area. been doing the dodge scene awhile with a very other makes at times

TFBA is a great club, just depends on your demographic preferences.

Thanks for the shout-out, guys!!!! Yes indeed we are Texas Fbody Association. We've been around since 2005 and we welcome anyone with an interest in any year of Camaro or Firebird. We are an all-inclusive, all-generational club, meaning we have all generations of both cars AND members!!

We organize the annual State Fair Fbody Day, we have hosted 3 5th-generation Camaro unveilings: the original silver concept, the convertible concept, and the production car. We regularly attend car shows and charity events around the metroplex as a club, and we have had picnics and race nights in the past. We also have an annual Members Only Christmas Party. We are a small, friendly club with members from across the metroplex, as well as Austin, San Antonio, Tyler, and points in between.

Our meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month at Spring Creek BBQ in Grapevine (Hwy 114 & Main St.) at 4 pm. We have a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and a Board of Directors, representing each generation............and guess what..........we need a Director to represent the 5th gen!!!

Now that you have much more information than you probably wanted, come on out and get involved!! We'd love to meet you and see your car!!
