Dyno numbers don't tell the whole story
First off let me Give a Shout out to Ryan at RPM MOTORSPORTS in Garner NC. I made post yesterday sayinging I was disappointed in my dyno results 393RWHP and 388RWTQ mods were 3.91 gears, Jba HighFlow mid pipes ,Fastlane cold air intake and tuned. Man was I wrong I left shop this morning felt like I could spin through 4th gear car is running real strong I need some drag radials bad.

RPM does great work but they don't have one of those "Happy Dynos" so don't worry about your numbers, take it to the strip, your trap MPH will tell the story.

We discussed his numbers in the other thread. There right were they should be.

Awesome!
+1 on RPM +1 on the track! That's where the true story is, the track won't lie. Enjoy

Dynos are tool and RWHP numbers vary from dyno to dyno
My L99 A6 ran 12.16 @ 114 mph with only 352 rwhp (20" wheels - stock converter, full weight). Don't worry about dyno numbers. What matters is how your car runs. Just stick with the same dyno. Some guys jump from dyno to dyno just looking for higher numbers. |

Also, I've always found the driver matters more than the car.
My ex had a 2010 GT 4.6 5speed. I know my car has much more power (and am heavier) but I could always whip her from light to light. One day we traded cars (for a wager that's not appropriate to state here) and I whipped her with me in the Stang and her in my SS even worse than I normally do (she couldn't control the extra power and had wheel spin/bog) Driver is the main thing |

Every dyno is going to give some different numbers. Tracks are much more consistent, and it's more fun to be driving than watching.
