Anybody have this sub? I would like to know what they really sound like. The Camaro factory system sounds a little weak compared to the Bose system GM used in thier trucks. Of course, that already has a subwoofer from the factory.

Is that the exact Factory MTX Subwoofer and enclosure for the Camaro?

Just asking cause it looks like it's a nice gloss black enclosure than the one I normally see for sale from GM Parts that looks like a flat plastic.

This picture is a stock photo from GM. I will contact my local warehouse and see of they can loo at one and see if it is really gloss or flat black I will let you know

They do need to be hooked but but come with full instructions and direct fit harnesses. I looked at the instructions today and installation looks very simple.
