Fuel System Status Diagnosis
Noticed that after about a 30 min drive my OBD2 Fuel System Status on bank 1 & 2 go from "close loop using HO2S" to "close loop faulty HO2S". No codes or CEL being set.
I have been told that one of my upper O2 sensors may be reacting slowly or failing. Or a lower may be failing. Or one of the cats may be failing ? No real noticeable difference in idle once the status changes. Any thoughts ?

Seems improbable that both sensors would fail simultaneously, but not impossible with the car being S/C'd and exposing them to more extremes than normal.
I think I'd take the time to do a visual check on those Solo cats before replacing sensors, just to rule them out as a possible cause. |

Was talking to the Bosch sensor rep on this type failure. He was leaning to replacing the upper O2 sensors. Could do one only but due to the SC he recommended their premium O2 sensor 16132 for use with the SC.
At the same time I'll be taking a look at the cats.
