Lower versus higher octane fuel is subjective. Does anyone have any definitive measurements? We only have 87, 89, and 91 here in Oklahoma but when I go back up north to Michigan the gas stations have 93 instead of 91.

So my Diablosport Predator 93 Tune, negates the need to pull the fuse, right?

Sorry I missed your previous post. I do not know what the threshold is but 91 octane is much more widely available than 93 so I would assume that it would be below that. As long as you keep premium fuel in it and you do not notice any sudden sluggishness I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I've owned Northstars for many years and have always put in premium. When I bought this I just naturally did as well. I don't know if it's sluggish or not as it is how it has been since I purchased it in November.

I'm going to pull those fuses tonight and see what I get tomorrow.

The only reason that I can figure that you'd have to leave the fuses out for a period of time would be to allow the capacitors to discharge. Is it not feasible to meter the two sides of the fuse circuits and ground out the side that is not energized (battery side)?

I know that anyone squeamish is going to freak out and say no way.

I am that guy when it comes to electrical. Just pull the fuses before you go in for the night and plug them back in the next morning. No fuss.

Well, I pulled them last night. I'll put them back in and see how she acts this morning. It may be unchanged. I just don't know what the first owner ran in it nor to I know what the dealership put in it.
