Hate it, tbh. You’re going to draw too many comparisons to European brands by making a trapezoidal grill. This fixes none of the complaints over the original grill and just adds on more, IMO.

The SS fascia is too aggressive to modify any further. Start with the RS front end. I know it sounds like a weird suggestion but people generally like the RS, and there’s still room left in GM’s design for tweaking. The goal shouldn’t be to outdo the SS fascia design but to instead offer an attractive alternative.

The new design “may” help with the lighter brighter colors, but it may be to much.

Darker colors look great as is.

The flow tie? I don’t see the big deal at all. I think people like to vent a lot on the internet. Probably needed more hugs growing up.

Nice to see them listening to the public, granted it is only because the public is doing the talking thru their checkbook... but still.

It's pretty unusable for a MFG. to admit a cosmetic mistake and fix it that fast.

What I don't get though is who approved that design in the first place. They need a new set of eyes.

I don’t get why we are “haters” if we don’t like a design

You see some of these refreshes and just have to wonder who is approving them. Where is there focus group and who are they picking for feedback? To each their own but I personally wouldn't have bought a 19 based on that grill alone. I almost didn't buy because they didn't offer a spoiler delete.

I purposely did not buy a ‘19 based on front end looks only. Whereas the ‘16-‘18 cars were virtually all the same, at that point it really didn’t matter which of those 3 years I bought. But getting a ‘17 leftover saved me at least $10K vs a ‘19, which I didn’t want anyway. And the money I saved went right to a blower and mods.

Just my 2 cents, but I just couldn’t live with the front end.

The oval design of the rear lights actually looks good.

What doesn't look good though is that they wrap around the side of the rear bumper , which creates a "bug" look.

If they only had the reflectors stop before the bumper curves to the side and had a clear cut-off point (like the C5 / C6 Corvettes do) it would look A LOT better.

The 2 things I REALLY wanted from the 2019 were the LED Headlights and the new higher res. rear view camera.

This is probably about as close to the reason as any. For some reason all manufactures seem to want to develop a "look" that transcends all models. The problem is they take that look and paste it on everything from SUVs to stake trucks.

One thing you have to say about the Challenger is that they've stayed true to what the car is. Modifications seem to be different variations of Challengers of the golden age of muscle cars. You don't see them plastering a floating RAM logo in their grills. Which BTW I've never understood the need to put a big bow tie in the grill to start with. Leave it off entirely and move the SS or RS to that real estate.

DUDE, I saw on the pics section, someone who debadged the front bow tie and it looked awesome.

Mine came with the gold bow ties and I replaced them with the black ones, but I am kinda thinking now to get rid of the front bow tie altogether.

I hope the guy doesn't mind, but here is the pic...
