Checking in!

I worked last night, tonight is my 7th day in a row of 12 hours of midnights (7pm-7am). I probably wont have a day off until next week. My family is upset that I'm working on Thanksgiving but there is nothing I can do. Besides its like triple time plus holiday pay...whatever, its retarded money.

It puts me that much closer to a Camaro.

I worked last night, had luch at my grandma's, now I gotta go back to work tonight. I like working holidays, they pay better. I never schedule my vacations on holiday weeks.

It's not like I have a choice with my job. In the end all these hours are going to payoff when I'm driving my dream machine.

The only thing that bugs me is my company scheduled this overtime to end yesterday. Now it's been extended 7-10 days. I KNEW this would happen... Whatever, it's job security and nice money.

Wow, lots of work. Between 3 jobs and being on call 24/7 I pull about 60-70 a week.

It's because of the plant outage. I'll be back to 40 hours in a week or 2. I need to suck up all the OT I can get.

Im tired as hell, but all I think about is the Camaro.

I'm at work, average 96 hours a week, and have pulled down as many as 139 hours a week two weeks in a row... Such is the life of working offshore in a couple of the positions out here... Doing the math shows that there are not many hours in those weeks that I'm not working... Sometimes I absolutely hate running the stack... but... it pays the bills...

I missed Thanksgiving... but..... If the weather peeps take care of me I'll get home three days before Christmas... Working internationally, my routine schedule is 13 hours a day, 28 days straight, often working lots of "extra overtime" and then I get 28 days off... With travel it works out to 31 and 25 but who's counting....
