So true. Only thing that will work is the lights on the buttons when you turn on the headlights. Until then, they won't be activated until The dealership works its magic on them with the programming.

Is there any reason I should be waiting for 2 days for my dealer to get a call back from techline? This is getting silly

Do what? Oh hell no!!!!

Time to get $hitty with them. It's a one hour max procedure. No reason to keep your car for two days. Time for some free stuff

The dealer claims they needed to leave a message with Techline or email techline to get the vcim program # and I am waiting for them to get the call back and do the work. What can I say to these guys to get them to hurry up and finish the job?

My dealer is an idiot, this I already know, but having no other choice within a 20 mile radius I am forced to let them "figure out" what to do here. Apparantly the work is being done now and we'll see if they are successful, but had I not the info from these boards to get my back I would be screwed.

Dang man, what dealer did you go to? I made the drive up to Richard Hibbard Chevrolet for this install and they got me going in an hour. Let us know what happens.
