Looks like a watered down version of a 5th Gen!

I give them two years before they tweek the lines back towards the retro look that was such a selling point of the 5th Gen. I don't see this outselling Mustangs. If GM wants people to trade in their 5th Gens, they need to wait till they make another bold American looking car again. Not a cookie cutter shape like this. Not saying it is ugly, just looks more like a MalibTaurus than American Muscle. Had they actually improved the look I would have considered parting with my RP6 2010. Now I think I will just keep it as it appears they have lost their creative genius that must have been completely exhausted with the 5th Gen and C7 Vette.

By the logic of this board, the Chevy Cruze looks like the Ford Fusion.
1.) New Mustang comes out and is ridiculed for looking like the Fusion. 2.) New Camaro comes out and is claimed to look like the Mustang. 3.) After further review, the Camaro now looks like the Chevy Cruze. Therefore, Chevy Cruze looks like the Ford Fusion. Next I will prove the Corvette looks like a Toyota... |

More power, lighter, narrower is a lot to like about the 6th gen.

The front end looks better than the 2010-2013, but the 2010 rear looks better than the 2016. The interior is miles beyond any 5th gen. The car is way lighter and faster. Handles far better.
Y'all complaining aren't really justified, of course aesthetics are subjective, but it has way more going for it than just exterior looks. That's all people seem to be complaining about. Reminds me of the 4th gen owners complaining about the 5th gen. Except this time, the new car is faster than the old car. |
