Sorry. Wrong month but seems to support your comment

By the numbers: $33,340. That's the estimated average transaction price for new light vehicles in June, according to Kelley Blue Book.

Ford's average transaction price was higher than that of GM's as far as I can remember.. Which surprised me.

Obviously they sell a ton of F150 models.

The F-150 is Ford's cash cow. I contributed to that fund myself.

I wonder where GM got their "more than $4200 higher than industry average"?

Unless the typo is that their ATP is actually closer to $37,500.

Looks like we will get shut out for two years in a row.. But I don't mind the low sales because I like having the only 6th Gen Camaro SS in a parking lot 900 employees!!!

Several years ago GM sold more vehicles over $50,000 than any manufacturer in the US. Where GM has sales well beyond Ford and everyone else is Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon. Huge $$$$ and no one even close.

The last few years have seen a pretty even mix of Camaros and Mustangs here, but the new Mustang seems more popular then ever, and I have yet to see a new generation Camaro on the street at all yet.

Now even I will admit my bias continues toward the new Mustang, as I think it's better looking than the new Camaro, but when I bought my Mustang in 2011, I bought it because it had better performance numbers than the same year Camaro which was, in my opinion far better looking. As people may know from my past posts, if the ZL1, 1LE or the mighty Z/28 had surfaced before the Boss 302 I would likely have had a Camaro in my driveway.

Well the Camaro has the numbers now, and it looks OK in the fantastic blue colour, so where are the cars? Where are the car enthusiasts? I want to see some Camaros out there on the streets people.

I just took delivery of mine and I bought an identical set of rims right away for winter tires. Xpel install next week and then she becomes my daily driver.

I drove 360 miles home and it really is a sweet car. I like the smaller, lighter feel and the interior and tech is a treat.
