Catch Can, Will it VOID the warranty?

Just as the title suggests.. I was thinking about adding a catch can, but I am also concerned it would void the drivetrain warranty?

no it would not unless the dealer has proof that your mod caused the problem but it should not....mods like headers, supercharger and turbo will void the warranty...but it all comes down to your dealer

Read up on Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act

Basically unless the dealer can *prove* that a specific aftermarket part directly caused a failure, they cannot void the warranty. This is no matter what parts you put on it, including headers and a super charger. Granted large increases in power and the parts breakages that go along with that are easier to prove, but they still have jump through the hoops.

Dam beat me to it, but yeah if your dealer sees any aftermarket parts in your car, and tells you your warranty is voided. He must show proof of the damage related to the after market part. So he can't deny you warranty work on your transmission because of your cold air intake for example.

Thanks for the prompt responses.. I guess I can feel a little more at ease about not voiding the drivetrain warranty by installing a catch can.
