First two mods!
Hey guys so I had some ideas for my first two mods and wanted to see what some more experienced minds think and maybe you guys could give me some input on whether it was a good idea or not.
I have been reading a lot on the RX CC for engine life and just an all around good part to add to your car, I bought my Camaro used with 16k miles on it and it's a 2011, is there anything I should do before I install the CC and am I able to install the CC by myself or should I take it to a shop? Also should I get the breather and all the other stuff for it as well? Second mod I wanted to do was an interior because my Maro is Imperial Blue so I wanted to redo the interior silver plastic to this http://www.carid.com/2011-chevy-cama...em-306783.html in the real dark blue carbon fiber type.and then later on replace the side panels and passenger side trim as well. Thanks in advance guys! |

I kid I kid. Yes the catch can is the way to go. Also the breather cap. Those interior pieces would be nice.

Hmm or should I do CC, breather cap and then a CAI instead of the interior?

All depends on your priorities. But for the sake of you car's health, do the CC and breather first. Don't be like us guys who have had the car from the beginning and have issues because we waited too long

Yeah that's what I fully plan on doing, it's on it's way from Florida to Hawaii now XD. I can't wait any longer! But I will be able to install the CC and breather by myself?

Oh yeah. The breather is just a new oil fill cap and the CC is just a matter of mounting the can and connecting the hoses. Easy as pie

Sweet, got any specific place to order from? I think I'll get it now so I can install as soon as I get my baby.

If you wish to have the sweet looking steel braided line kit for the CC call the number on the site. When ordering the CC there is a selection to add the breather or jsut tell them you want it if you call them. The guy's name is Tracy and he is SC2150 on this forum |
