First 45Th gets superchargered by Magnuson Superchargers

Better late than never. Back on 9/19 the first 45th anniv vert SS delivered on the west coast was supercharged by Magnuson superchargers (delivered 8/14 at Selman Chevy). As some of you may remember, Exflirt's 45th made the home page upon arrival and was destined for SEMA this year. I was in charge of coordinating the build and after taking delivery of Exflirt's prized possession, the first stop was Magnuson in Ventura. Magnuson used Exflirt's 45th for their 2012 engine and emissions calibrations, required in order to comply with C.A.R.B. to keep it smog legal here in California.
Two baseline dyno pulls netted 363 rwhp and 367 rwtq on the then bone stock 45th, running 91 octane 76 pump gas. After the TVS2300 install and final 2012 engine and emissions calibrations were completed, Lyssa, as Exflirt's 45th has been named, netted 506 rwhp and 436 rwtq. A 143 rwhp gain, surprising everyone with a slightly higher than average gain on the 2012. Special thanks to the crew at Magnuson for all their help.
Follow along as I post a few additional improvements leading up to Lyssa's SEMA debut.

After I picked up Lyssa from Magnuson she went to several other manufactures as well as Industrial Motoring for additional installs and to Fabricante auto body for paint and body upgrades.
Gibson Performance Exhaust used Lyssa to test fit their Camaro system on the vert and found it to be a tight fit. They proceeded to redesign the system to fit better and came up with an all new system that flowed bettered and sounded better as well. Industrial Motoring installed a prototype cold air intake as well and I noticed an improved seat of the pants feel under acceleration. Running short on time and the SEMA deadline quickly approaching the 45th went off into the body shop.
During that time I had some concerns on the air fuel ratio changing and I ran into Dave from Hennessey Performance So-Cal and during our conversation he said to bring it by as soon as its done at Fabricante to check it. Don and Dave over at Hennessey have been great here is So-Cal opening their facility for an open house earlier this year and they have also been very helpful to me when I've needed assistance on some of my projects. Well it came down to the Friday before SEMA before the car was ready, I called Don and he said bring it over. They pretty much dropped everything to help me. Sure enough, my suspicions were right, Lyssa was running lean. Hennessey's tuner went about and re-tuned Lyssa for me and after fattening her up a bit she was fine tuned to 521 rwhp and 491 rwtq, net gains of 158 rwhp and 124 rwtq from just a Magnuson TVS2300, Gibson Performance exhaust and a prototype cold air system.

Wow!!!!! 363 rwhp and 367 rwtq on a bone stock engine that is rated
400 crank horsepower from the factory. I knew my 45th was fast but
now i know the reason why.

It's actually 426 crank h.p. in the LS3 from the factory, the L99 is 400 h.p.
In all fairness though it did dyno slightly higher than most stock LS3's. It was broken in right.

Now now, Quick - don't be too speedy to assume those are YOUR numbers.

I's got connections...

Seriously, a dyno is the only way to tell. Some (like my girl) are a little higher than others. I saw one that dynoed stock at 370.

If you have 400 crank hp, then your wheel horsepower will be significantly lower than 363 assuming you are talking about the L99.
