Desperately need a quality dealer in NorCal for warranty work.

If anyone could refer me to a very solid dealer that they have used in the past for warranty work it would be greatly appreciated. Courtesy Chevrolet has completely failed me after failing to address my top issues since August, so it's time to make a switch...

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about your experience with Courtesy. I had the same problem until I started dealing with Dennis Lowe. He has taken WICKED GOOD care of me and I haven't had ANY problems since. If you can't get things squared away in Fremont (or wherever) please give him a call. He will do what he can to make you happy, I know he will.

I stopped by Dublin Chevrolet to grill them, and the service adviser was surprised that I had issues at Courtesy. He mentioned Dennis by name and said he was one of the best in the business.

Funny thing is half of my issues were fixed by my mods...

Thanks all for the feedback!

Typical vert issues. Rub marks on top and heavy wind noise.

Glad to hear you got your issues taken care of. Give Dennis a call next time, he loves our Camaros and will do whatever he can to make sure your car is perfect and you're happy. If you tell him you know me (Bobbie with the yellow Camaro), you may get some special treatment. A couple of my friends have benefited from our connection.

I actually just dealt with Dennis at Courtesy and he is exactly what Bobbie said he is. I'm actually going to go edit my thread about dealers.

Glad to hear you got it taken care of. =)

Does anyone know how mod friendly Fremont Chevy is? I'm not trying to be sneaky or anything but if I ever bring the car in for a problem like bad syncros or whatever, I don't want them to blame it on my coilovers or other suspension mods. VW dealerships are known for doing this. They would place a note on your file about all your mods even when you are just bringing it in for a recall item. Ask me how I know.

I'm really concerned about this as well. I don't like anyone touching my baby, but I hate it when they try to weasel out of legitimate complaints by blaming mods that have nothing to do with the problem part. That means I paid good money for a vehicle that is defective and not being put back to the condition it should be - and I'm having to spend time and energy on it. Nooooooooooo good.

Check with Rick, urr2slo, about Fremont. He's talked to them directly about how well they will work with us and our modfied Camaros. I think he mentioned bringing in a modified Camaro to them in the near future for work.

I've taken my Malibu there on a few occasions and they surprised me with their service and desire to make a good impression. They are the dedicated dealer for my DD.

As an example, my power steering went out suddenly one Saturday afternoon. They got the car in immediately, gave me a rental for the afternoon, and had it fixed and waiting for me by the time they closed that evening. I was amazed that I was driving my car less than 6 hours later, completely repaired on a SATURDAY! I like them a lot.

Fremont Chevy replaced my driveshaft after taking out all my custom welded exhaust, and welding it back. No ?'s asked, and didn't charge me a dime; also replaced drivers seat warmer which was out of warranty at no charge as well. I deal with Mike Gress.

PTROXX knows ; Able is the only dealership around that will not sweat you on a tune, and still honor warranty. You should see Richie at Able.
Mike Moore (Gasoline Dreamz Performance) also endorses Able after tuning.

Dublin Chevrolet is very mod friendly. After I pulled up half the service staff and the managers came out to talk to me about what I did and that it sounds great. They took care of my issues and sent me on my way. Mind you I might have a problem if I blow a piston... But the service manager herself said that if the mod doesn't cause the failure, then they will make it right.
