Did you install the spacers to drop the center cross brace for clearance. My 3" Stainless Works system rubbed there at first and sounded just like that. I added a few washers in addition to the spacer and that allowed it to clear.

Another thought, make sure none of the clamps are touching anything or either.

Good advice, thank you. I don't think I was ever given the spacers with the kit, so maybe I need to look into doing that. Awesome

Should be two aluminum bars about 4" long and 1/2" thick with holes on either end. One goes on each side. 3" pipes won't clear without them. If the pipes touch that cross brace at all, it will vibrate at idle.

now that you mention the shape, I know we definitely had those when installing the catback initially. After work Ill go and make sure that we didn't accidentally leave one or both off from the work we did a few weeks ago. Thanks 00
