Just had a talk with the guy at autozone........

I just went to Autozone to pick up a new taillight bulb because one of mine had blone, and he asked me what model. I said LT an he said oh those cars are made in Mexico along with the SS. I said no sir that is not the right car then because it was made in Canada. He said that the computer said Mexico so he believe it was Mexico so we stood there rambling on about where it was made. He couldn't find the part under the Mexico and found it under the Canada built car. I can't believe the nerve of some people. It just (I DRIVE A CAMARO DONT YOU THINK I KNOW WHERE IT WAS MADE.) Jeez. lol. Anyways I'm done rambling I just thought I'd let you know just incase you ever have to go there to get a part.

Reminds me of my trip to Home Depot over the weekend. I needed a new water filter for my fridge. I wrote down the part number. Ask the sales dude where the filters are. He asks if its 1, 2 or no prongs. I said I dont know but I have the part number. He says that wont help. What? We go look at them he's trying to figure out which one. Again I said I have the part number, he ignores me. Finally I read the number on my paper and spot the correct filter. He was shocked, I said once again. I told you I had the part number. Idiot.

That explains why my clutch pedal keeps sticking to the floor every once in a while.

Hmm what a surprise. The people at Autozone didn't know the right answer.

I've got a similar story from Autozone. Bought a fuel filter for an 80-something Mitsubishi pickup years ago. The one they sold me was a plastic in-line filter that goes under the hood. The one on the pickup was a metal in-line filter mounted above the gas tank. When I realized this, I returned to Autozone with my receipt and ended up arguing with the manager there for 5-10 minutes over returning the $3.00 filter. He insisted that it was the correct one and that someone must have taken the factory filter out, dropped the tank, and installed the mounting bracket and metal filter aftermarket.

Napa, BTW, had the correct filter.
