Haha but my car idles fine and doesn't die out and it doesn't squeak lol.

Don't know what stock goes for ... A 416 is like 5 to 7k .. Assembled with forged internals ... your gonna have give up your block as a core charge ... I imagine a 427 is more

I wouldn't go 42x anything unless it was with an ERL block. I'd stay 416 or any combo with a 4.0 stroke and not more than that. Thats just my .2 though.

418 is good as well? So as soon as I get my block I have to send mine back in? I'm still praying its only a blown head gasket though that would save me quite a penny.

They call it a core charge. Yes you have to ship your old blck back. I hope you only have a blown head gasket too.
