That would be Gatlinburg, Tenn. And when you do head North, try to work in the Blue Ridge Parkway!

I am sitting in the terminal in O'Hare waiting to board my flight to Sarasota... Everything is done and I'm anxious to drive my car. The car never got on the dyno, Tracy did street logging for Vince, and Tracy says the tune is excellent.

I plan on taking it to speed inc to get it on a dyno when I get back, and will be taking it to the track soon as well.

... I'm super excited about picking it up today

Nice!

Random question, what part of Illinois do you live in? I lived in the Roselle/Bloomingdale/Schaumburg area for ten years.

Random, unsolicited thread derail: I'm from Peoria and my sister now lives in Wheaton. I live far, far away...

There were some minor issues with the boost, so I didn't get to pick it up today, but I gotta give props to Tracy for working pretty much all Saturday afternoon to fix the boost issue.

It's ready now, and I'll be picking it up tomorrow afternoon after spending Easter with family in ft Myers.

Tracy's dedication is very apparent.

The problem with the boost was hard to detect without a dyno. Pretty much it would boost up to 12 pounds very easily (and quickly), but if you tried to sustain WOT, it would loose boost after hitting 12 pounds.

Tracy was able to detect the problem, which was an issue with the STS blowoff valve. Were now using the internal blowoff valve of the EFR turbo, and it holds boost.

The only thing left of STS on my car is now the intercooler and some random pipes.

Thanks Tracy for spending your Easter weekend straightening out everything with my car.

So now that it holds boost at wot your tune has got to be all out of whack? Seems that would be a very important step contolling boost to when buildi g the tune. At least you have an air fuel gauge ride home .

Controlling the boost doesn't have to do with the tune. The boost spikes were a result of the BOV mishap. If the car was running well before this it will still be good. The BOV just wasn't use to the high boost and others have noted that the STS BOV is trash.
