I don't know any thing about the CTS... I see at the top i says some thing about 4WD... is there an all wheel driver version? Are they all automatics? A 263 baseline mean only about a 13% drive train loss... still seems to me like things are just plain off...

there is an awd version but i know the manual tran version was getting 263 for a baseline

Well, if you consider pulling back 20-30HP in 1st and 2nd a "performance boost" then yea..... Most auto tunes are reducing the TM to 20-30% of it's original values. They keep it at 70-80% for the shifts though from what I've seen.
