GOOD NEWS: My Dealer is NOT LYING to me.

THE BAD NEWS: The Manual SS they order that I'm waiting to Test Drive may be held Hostage.

I will know for sure in about 2 weeks or less. His Dealership Hire their own Trucking Company to go an get thier Vehicles from a Depot about a 200 miles away around trip. IF the manual SS is not at the Depot then it is a Hostage.

Once I test drive the Manual SS. I'm pulling the Trigger and ordering what I want. I'm not going for the whole, "Oh there is a dealer XX amount of miles away that has what you want. We can get it here by ______."

I do want to point out that taking a pay cut is something a lot of us have done, but we do that by choice for the welfare of our future at the same place. It is a choice. The company tried to force it on everyone, and that just isn't right. This is just my opinion, and you guys are more than welcome to disagree.

The company demand for a 20% pay cut is greedy (I had to take a 6% pay cut to keep my job), but the union refusal was also greedy. How much are those union drivers making now with the trucks parked?

The same can be asked of the company. How much is the company making with the clients finding other options? Those drivers can get jobs elsewhere. As tough as this economy is, there is a real need for transportation. It isn't what it used to be, but there are jobs in that field. Investors lose their money when they don't come to terms with their employees.

15%!? They want a 15% pay raise? Across the entire fleet! Good luck with that. Never gonna happen.

Hey Allied, be prepared for an onslaught of lawsuits, I may go ahead today and start a SUE ALLIED Facebook page....

I have patiently waited 3 years for this car, it was supposed to arrive to CT yesterday, so I am now going through PAIN, SUFFERING, LACK OF SLEEP, STRESS, AGGRAVATION...ETC..

These punks need to pay, I am calling a lawyer as well....

Who else is waiting.... and as John Belushi said in Animal House...

My Camaro was being held with the others. This morning I was updated that it had been loaded on a truck for shipping to my dealer. I assume they must have worked something out and maybe that is why mine is on the way to the dealer.

I hope the same happens for every future Camaro owner whose car has been being held captive by Allied.

I feel your pain, but it looks like you're gonna have to wait in line behind GM & Chrysler!

Lets see, Allied goes bankrupt. The union drivers loose their jobs but did not have to give any consessions. Non-union drivers haul cars and get more jobs. Looks like every one wins.

Wonder if Allied would have gave GM and Chrysler money back if fuel prices would have dropped?

Some (the ones who made that wacky decision) at Allied, need to be charged with grand theft auto.

Well I called my dealer today, he said he was going to get the details, but he did say they don't use Allied as a carrier....my car was scheduled to be at the dealer yesterday, so maybe today she will arrive...
