I like the idea of redesigning the 2nd gen.. to keep with the current formula. And that is a decent example of what it could look like. But its definitely a photoshop'd pic made by an enthusiast with probably nothing to do with GM.

Personally, I wouldn't pay for that.

I like my '11 body style a lot more.

I really like the rear end, but the front reminds me of the old Helies (and kind of looks like a beaver - but the Helies had that too)

Too much fifth gen influence. It needs a lot of polishing, but the back doesn't look horrible. The tail lights are the only part that doesn't need changing. On the sides and back the fifth gen parts that were left need to be redesigned to fit with the rest of the second gen flow.

I used to feel the same way till I saw this video. I always liked the early second gens, but thought that the 74-81's looked like crap. Hot Rod magazine did a nice job showing what you can do with a 79.

It might look better if it has a smaller grill area but then the back part kinda does look a little too much like mustang.

It looks just like my 72 firebird or the camaro but not as trim and sleek.Front grill like a 70's camaro. I like my 60's retro better but this is nice.
