Most mag's and internet chatter has them at mid 14's trapping at 100mph in the 1/4. But im not a Honda fan so I really don't care to argue this I just thought 100mph in the 1/4 from a 268 hp fwd accord is impressive and deserves to be mentioned.

Supposedly some people have gotten the newest V6 Accords into the 13.9 range bone stock. haven't seen it myself, but if so i would guess it is the manual models.

If I wasn't getting so many "Oh man that is one sweet car" comments I might feel sad too.

Man I'm glad I don't care about bs like this thread! More to life then worrying about how many cars are faster then yours. If thats it then I would think your into serious racing and wouldn't have a heavy car anyway and it would be modded to the hilt as it should be.
I'v been driving along time and never worried who was faster and I dont think many on the road do , nor been in but one street race either. from my expierence don't worry about your v6 Camaro,it's plenty quick on the street where most of us live 99.99% of the time. Granted mine's not stock but I am impressed how fast the car moves out with light to moderate gas. I feel it is no slower under any similar driving situation on the street then my 98 z28 that has 335 rwhp, m6 and roadrace suspension. Only in a 0-60/ 1/4 mile would it obviously be faster. And that is the point, you don't drive with a stop watch or an x mas tree going green and you cannot tell or know you are going a 1/2 second faster or slower I dont think. It was all of this over 28 years of driving v8 Camaros that led me to buy the v6 as a daily driver when I wanted a new car, the v8 on the street, or a faster v6, is for me a waste of a car, a good waste, but still never be able to use it the way it was intented, not in L.A. traffic. The V6 is plenty fast, responsive and plane fun!! |

I personally got mine because I love how it looks... I'm not a street or track racer and it is my daily driver. I'm military, and there are TONS of Challengers and every type of Mustang on this base. But very few Camaros in comparison. It's the only car that will still turn everyones head, V6 or V8. The beauty far surpasses the Challenger... which all it has going for it is the weird hood. And the mustangs, they haven't been redesigned much at all since the 90s.
